The fine players of <Avelorn's Hope> have decided to move over to <Blade and Quill>.

What started off as a discussion about us moving to form a new alliance together ended up with the two guilds deciding that our in-game fun would be enhanced by a merger.

We've been allies for quite some time (I have personally had great groups with a number of <Avelorn's Hope> members) and I'm delighted that the members of this very active, friendly guild have chosen <Blade and Quill> as a suitable home,

Please join me in extending a very warm welcome to these players - I hope that this superb development will enhance everyone's enjoyment of WAR!

Oh - and all officers should expect a steady stream of <Avelorn's Hope> members requesting invites over the next week or two.

Please get invites handed out on request and let myself or a Captain know if we run out of space for invites. I created room for about 35 new members, but this may not be enough.

That reminds me! We've got historical experience of really, really successful mergers. The <Wraith and Retribution> guys have been with us for a few months now and have settled in perfectly. There is no feeling of "them" versus "us" - everyone is just getting on with making sure that we share the best possible in-game experience.

I am totally confident that we can replicate this success with the members of <Avelorn's Hope>!
