Andy (Ryzare) has moved on to a new home, but remains within the broader B&Q alliance.
Just wanted to wish him well in his new home and thank him for all the hard work he put into helping build the B&Q alliance. Andy did a huge amount of work to help get us to the position that we're in now: part of a full, 10-guild alliance with hundreds of people in /achat every evening.
I hope he will post here with his own explanation for switching guilds, but my interpretation of the situation is this:
Andy is a really competitive guy who wants to be playing WAR at a much higher level than B&Q can support. B&Q is never going to be the most feared RvR guild, and that limitation was beginning to hold Andy back. B&Q is a social guild, formed from the ashes of the community that played together in DAoC. This suits the majority of people in B&Q and it will always be the guild's primary reason for existence - keeping these old comrades together!
For those who feel that this isn't enough for them - we salute you and wish you well in your new home!
