OK, looks like GOA have opened the WAR beta signup site:

Follow the obvious links and complete the forms. If you don't subscribe to the newsletter each month, you may want to check the box that signs you up to this, since they have said that preference will be given to newsletter readers.
I've signed up. Closed beta will start "in the summer", so presumably invites will go out relatively soon. Open beta will be happening some time towards the end of the year.
Can I encourage all of you to go register for beta? Even if only one of us gets in, it means we have an account to share! ;)
Oh, other news will follow soon. The new house is going smoothly (finally moved in last weekend), but I still don't really have a PC setup, hence my noticable absence from the internets.
